Comfort and communication
Sexual Wellbeing Is Broader Than Performance
Sexual wellbeing is not a score based on how often you have sex, how many products you own or whether an experience reaches a particular outcome. Your ability to choose, communicate and get trustworthy information matters too.
A broader frame
The World Health Organization describes sexual health through a positive, respectful approach, access to information and care, and experiences free from coercion, discrimination and violence. That is much broader than a performance target.
Ask questions that leave room for your answer
Do you feel able to say yes, no or not now? Can you ask for information without embarrassment being used against you? Is discomfort taken seriously? These are reflection prompts, not a diagnostic scale.
Someone else's frequency or preferred product does not establish what your routine should look like. You can be interested in exploring, uninterested in buying or simply looking for clearer information.
Keep products in proportion
Dear Tingle offers objects and product guidance. It cannot sell consent, resolve a health condition through a universal device or guarantee confidence and satisfaction. A product may be part of what you choose, but it should not become a requirement for feeling legitimate.
Use the right support for the question
For specifications, ask the retailer. For symptoms, speak with a clinician. For a difficult relationship conversation, seek appropriate support rather than assuming a new purchase will settle it.
Our communication guide and appointment guide address two of those different needs. Neither requires a purchase to be useful.
General information from Dear Tingle, not a diagnosis or an individual treatment plan.
