What Does Your Vibrator Charging Light Mean?
A blinking light has no universal meaning across vibrators. It may be associated with charging, connection or a control state, depending on the model and what you just did. Read it together with the manual and the device's current state.
Note what happened immediately before the light changed
Was the cable connected? Did you press the power button, begin an app search or use a lock sequence? A light observed while charging is different evidence from a light observed after a pairing command.
Manufacturer instructions demonstrate why context matters: LELO describes charging indicators, while Lovense describes indicators associated with connection. These examples should not be used as a universal colour or flashing-code chart for Dear Tingle products.
Write down an observation, not a diagnosis
Instead of “the battery is broken,” record: “With the supplied cable attached, the light flashes for two seconds and then turns off.” Add whether this has always happened or started recently, the approximate charging time and the power source used.
A brief video of the indicator can help support if it is difficult to describe. Film the device on a plain surface, with no people, private messages or personal documents visible. Do not send intimate footage to explain an electronics problem.
Compare with the exact instructions
Find the model's documented charging-complete signal and normal charging duration. If neither is given, ask the seller. Do not keep a device connected indefinitely just because you expected a colour change that the manual never promised.
If the device becomes unusually hot or appears damaged, stop using it. Smoke, sparks or a chemical smell require leaving the area and contacting emergency services, not another charging test. See our battery warning-sign guide. Do not open the housing or probe the charging connection as part of interpreting a light.
Keep the cable and model details together
For Dear Tingle support, include the product name, order number and the indicator sequence you observed. Our replacement-charger guide can help if the original cable is missing. A clear description makes it easier to distinguish a cable question from a control or device problem.
