Rechargeable Vibrators: A Clear Charging Guide
“USB rechargeable” describes how a device receives power, but it does not mean every USB cable fits it. Before the first charge, identify the connection at both ends of the supplied cable and read the power requirements for the exact model.
Match the cable to the device
The power-source end may look familiar while the device end uses a model-specific plug or magnetic contacts. Similar-looking connectors are not proof of compatibility. Keep the supplied cable with the device and ask the seller for the correct replacement if it is lost.
Never force a connector into a seam or opening. The manual or a clearly labelled product image should identify the charging point. If you cannot confidently find it, send support the model name and a photograph of the device, without including private information.
Check whether a power adapter is included
A cable and a wall adapter are separate items. A product photograph showing a cable does not establish that an adapter is in the box. Read the written contents list and use a power source meeting the manufacturer's stated requirements.
Dear Tingle’s Dot listing identifies USB charging. For model-specific charging details or a replacement cable, contact Dear Tingle support. Do not infer a charge time, connector type or adapter rating from another bullet-shaped product.
Learn the charging indicator
Find out what the light should do while charging and when complete. A flashing light can have different meanings on different models. Check the manual instead of treating a colour or blink pattern as universal.
Charge only as directed, with the device and contacts dry. Keep the charging setup away from water. Do not use the device while it is charging unless the manufacturer expressly permits it. Stop using a device that is unusually hot, swollen or damaged; disconnect power only if safe. For smoke, sparks or a chemical smell, leave the area and call emergency services. Our battery warning-sign guide separates emergencies from routine support.
If it does not appear to charge
- Confirm the exact model and that you are using its correct cable.
- Check the manufacturer's instructions for connection and indicators.
- With power disconnected, inspect for visible damage or moisture. Do not insert tools into the port.
- Reconnect only if the cable and device are undamaged and dry, using a compliant power source.
- If the expected indicator still does not appear, stop guessing and ask support.
Do not open the housing, modify the battery or repeatedly test incompatible chargers. A support request is more useful when it includes the model, order reference and what the indicator did.
Make the next charge easier
Keep the cable labelled and store it without sharply bending it at the connector. Follow the manual's guidance for long-term storage and recharging. Battery care instructions can differ, so there is no single timetable that applies to the entire catalogue.
